Hmmmmm. We could maybe have a series instead of called "Let's Play," "Let's Die." Compilations of us dying in different games, failing epicly, screaming horrid things at the screen and generally not givin a good god damn.

Got another idea last night as I tucked myself in and cried myself to sleep while nursing a bottle of tequila (none of that happened).
The Game(r) Show. A game show type deal with gaming related content and trivia. Could have straight up trivia, maybe a game-based debate chosen by the viewers in the comment section (gotta get that user participation!), other fun little gaming based games like coming up with "Porn Game Titles" or "Worst Game Concept Ever" and stuff.
As for the host, I volunteer unless someone thinks they'd actually be a good host. I think i'd be passable, maybe even great, but I dunno, never hosted something like that. I can certainly slick back my hair and put on the cheese like a gameshow host.
I like this idea because it's something the larger GG community can get in on without putting in more effort than they're comfortable with. We could source them for questions, and even use them for contestants. As for winnings, we could always go with bragging rights. They're the best gamer ever for the next week or whatever until we do another one. Or we could pretty cheaply secure prizes via the Humble Bundle. Buy a bundle and we'd have a game to give out each week for 2 months.
Lastly, it'd have to be done on Skype through a video call. We'd need somebody with basic editing skills to maybe trim out any awkward silences, interruptions (bound to happen on Skype) and kinda put the videos together in a pleasing way. I might be able to do that, I've edited a TIIIIIIIINY bit, but never anything at that level.
Sorry for the long post, but figured I'd get the whole idea out there!

I also think that we should have people send in video game reviews if they want, multiple reviews on a game is better than one, it would also make people look through our videos more, like 'oh this person has similar tastes and opinions as me I should look out for there reviews, but avoid this persons reviews becuase our ideas on a game dont mesh' it opens up a much wider variety

Youtube Idea: A series of machinima wherein a "stand up comedian" performs in that universe, because even video game universes have humor. An example would be a Skyrim comedian performing Skyrim/Elder Scrolls related jokes in, yep, Skyrim. With a team of funny writers knowledgeable about the source material, I think this could be a pretty big hit and it could stay fresh forever since every game would present the opportunity for different jokes/types of material.
I've done a bit of stand up myself so am familiar with the basics, though to claim to "know" stand up would be a gross overstatement. But we have the beauty of scripts and editing and not actually having to perform a set live, so that would compensate. Also, I think a friend of mine would be into the idea, and he's a professional stand up who even has a Comedy Central half-hour under his belt. So while we can try it ourselves first, there is an option to potentially bring in a "bfg" to use a video game term.

I think its time we get serious with expanding and developing GG. We should have select people who are willing to step up In certain areas and really play to their strengths. I think a weekly news show would be amazing. Have a couple GG discussing up coming games or already released ones. Hope this all turns out great and that we have fun with it!!
